Stockhausen Semillon
Wine
Briar Ridge Stockhausen Semillon is grown in the heart of Hunter Valley. It is named after brand custodian and long-time Hunter Valley winemaker Karl Stockhausen.
The fruit is crushed, destemmed and chilled to 12°C. The free run juice is separated from the pressings and cold settled.
The clear juice is then racked and inoculated with a selected white wine yeast. After 15 days of fermentation at 12-15°C, the wine is racked of yeast deposits, stabilized, fined and filtered for bottling.
Bright lemon, Briar Ridge Stockhausen Semillon has crisp citrus flavours, refreshing acidity and a refined finish. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
